My 2010 318D showed reduced power engine fault sign which was traced to be due to faulty EGR valve.This was replaced by the mechanic but there is a engine sign coming on moment I start the car-possibly indicating a sensor or cable fault,and it stays on. Engine performs and sounds better since changing

I am pretty sure there is a guru who can help me to resolve my problem on my X5 35D 2010. Here is my problem. My car have 111,000KM. When I start the car, it smell diesel and I think the problem is the EGR valve
Misfire: Misfiring is a rare symptom of a bad EGR valve, but it can still happen. Very poor EGR valve problems can change the fuel-to-air ratio in the engine so much that it misfires. Rough idling: While a rough idle can be the sign of many problems, an EGR valve is a potential cause.
2009 X5 35d June production. FWIW BMW X5 35d Selective Catalytic Reaction (SCR) System uses two tanks to hold the AdBlue/Urea. The Active Tank heats the Urea (1.6gal) when required and is located in the front right section of the engine compartmant while the Passive Tank (4.5gal) is under the floor next to the Xmission with the fill nossle
If same within tolerance, proceed. 4. Run engine at 1200 rpm to cool off exhaust system, about five minutes. 5. Turn on def injection, run engine at 1900 rpm until scr is saturated, 10 minutes or so. 6. Compare nox sensor mv, if within tolerance, about 1 to 4 downstream to upstream, passes test.

2012 X5 35d with 120k miles. Original owner and overall rock solid SUV. CEL came on and through the following code on CreoDor C310: 00 01 48 73 No Found! On the display the numbers are separated by commas. I did a bunch of google searches but only found a reference to this code back in 2016 but the thread died without any results.
